Is it just me or does anyone else think that the whole fuel cap issue is just a ploy by car manufacturers to make us spend more money on unnecessary repairs? Seems fishy to me.

Definitely not just you. Its a classic move by manufacturers to squeeze more cash out of us. Cant trust em one bit.

Seems like a sneaky way for car companies to milk us for more cash. Wouldnt put it past them.

Thats a valid point. It does make you wonder if its all just a scheme to squeeze more cash out of consumers. It wouldnt be surprising given the track record of some car manufacturers.
