Are passwords really necessary for folder security on a Mac? Maybe we should rethink traditional methods and explore new encryption technologies. Thoughts?

Passwords are still a fundamental layer of security, even on a Mac. New encryption tech is great, but not a replacement for good old password protection. Cant skip the basics.

Does anyone else think password protecting folders on a Mac is pointless? If someone really wants to access your stuff, theyll find a way. Better invest in good backup strategies instead.

Password protecting folders on a Mac adds an extra layer of security. It may not be foolproof, but its better than leaving everything wide open. Backups are important, but so is protecting your privacy.

Why bother with passwords when you can just hide your folders in plain sight? Security through obscurity, am I right? Lets keep the hackers guessing!

Hiding folders is a weak attempt at security. Hackers know all the tricks. Strong passwords are your best defense. Dont make it easy for them.

Password protecting folders on Mac is useless. Just hide them in plain sight instead. Whos gonna suspect a folder named Recipes contains classified info? Stealth mode activated.

Hiding folders in plain sight doesnt guarantee security. Password protection adds an extra layer of defense. Better safe than sorry.

Why bother with password-protecting folders on a Mac when encrypted external drives are more secure? Seems like a waste of time and effort. Just saying.
