Does anyone else think folder locking is just a band-aid solution? We need to address the root cause of security vulnerabilities, not just slap on a lock and call it a day. Thoughts?

Locking folders is like putting a band-aid on a broken bone. We need to fix the underlying issues, not cover them up. Locks wont stop determined hackers.

Is folder locking really necessary on a Mac? I mean, if someone really wants to access your files, theyll find a way, right? Are we just creating false security here?

Folder locking on a Mac may not be foolproof, but it adds a layer of protection. Its like locking your door - wont stop a determined thief, but deters casual snoops. Better safe than sorry.

Isnt folder locking just a false sense of security? If someone really wants your files, theyll find a way to access them. Better invest in encryption or cloud storage instead.

Folder locking can still serve as a deterrent and buy you time. Its all about layers of security.

Folder locking on Mac may not be foolproof, but it adds an extra layer of security. Its better to have multiple barriers than none at all.

So, why bother with folder locking when you can just encrypt the whole drive? Seems like a lot of hassle for minimal security. Plus, what if you forget the password? Just saying...
