Absolutely agree. It seems like a blatant ploy by HP to squeeze every penny out of us. Black ink mysteriously runs out faster than any other color. No doubt its a sneaky tactic to boost cartridge sales. Cant trust those printer manufacturers.

False sense of security? Strong passwords and encryption can be bypassed too. Layered security is key. Locking folders adds an extra hurdle for intruders. Its not pointless, just another layer of defense.
