Discussion: Slide Stop problem

Hello forum members,

I recently purchased a new handgun and have been experiencing some issues with the slide stop. Whenever I try to release the slide after loading a magazine, it doesn't always catch properly and the slide doesn't stay in place. This is frustrating and concerning, as it could potentially cause safety issues during use.

Has anyone else encountered this problem with their firearm? What solutions or troubleshooting steps did you take to address it? I would appreciate any insights or advice on how to resolve this slide stop issue. Thank you.

Who even uses the slide stop anyway? Just rack the slide like a boss and keep it moving. Its all about that muscle memory, not relying on some tiny lever. Slide stop schmide stop!

Seems like the Slide Stop issue is just a distraction from the real problem. Maybe we should focus on improving gun safety training instead of blaming the equipment. Just a thought.

Focus on gun control issues, not trivial distractions. The slide stop discussion is a red herring. Stay vigilant on what truly matters.
