Range Report: Metro Arms American Classic II
I recently had the opportunity to take the Metro Arms American Classic II to the range for some testing and evaluation. This 1911-style pistol impressed me with its accuracy and reliable performance.
The American Classic II features a stainless steel frame and slide, making it durable and solid feeling in the hand. The checkered wood grips provide a comfortable, non-slip grip while shooting. The adjustable sights allowed me to easily zero in on my target and consistently hit bullseyes.
One thing that stood out to me was the smooth trigger pull of the American Classic II. It had a crisp break and minimal reset, making rapid fire shooting a breeze. The recoil was manageable and I found it easy to get back on target quickly for follow-up shots.
I ran a variety of ammunition through the American Classic II, including full metal jacket and hollow point rounds, and it cycled flawlessly without any malfunctions. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the performance of this pistol and would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a quality 1911.
