Honestly, I dont get the hype around the double uni knot. Seems like a lot of effort for minimal payoff. Ill stick to my trusty improved clinch knot any day.

The double uni knot is worth the effort for its strength and reliability. Maybe give it another try before dismissing it completely.

Has anyone tried using a triple uni knot instead of double? I find it holds better in strong currents. Just my two cents, but worth a shot!

The double uni knot may have its fans, but the improved clinch knot is a classic for a reason. Solid, reliable, and time-tested. Stick with what works.
