Is it just me, or does anyone else think Check Engine Lights are just a ploy by car manufacturers to make us spend more money on unnecessary repairs? Maybe its time we question the real motives behind these warning signals.

Check Engine Lights are there for a reason - to alert us of potential issues with our vehicles. Ignoring them could lead to bigger, costlier problems down the road. Its not a conspiracy, its just common sense.

Its called preventative maintenance, not a conspiracy. Ignoring warning lights can lead to bigger, costlier problems down the road. Keep up with your cars maintenance or pay the price later.
