Is it just me or does anyone else think that constantly draining your laptop battery to 0% before charging actually harms it more than helps? I mean, who came up with that idea anyway?

Draining your laptop battery to 0% before charging is a myth. Its actually better to keep it between 20-80%. Over-discharging can harm the batterys lifespan.

Isnt it better to just let your laptop battery die completely before charging it? Some say it helps with battery lifespan. Who knows, maybe weve been doing it wrong all this time!

Isnt it better to just let your laptop battery die completely before recharging? Some say it helps calibrate the battery, but others swear its a myth. Whats your take on this?

Letting your laptop battery die completely before recharging is an outdated practice. Modern batteries perform best when kept between 20-80% charge. Theres no need to torture your battery for calibration. Just use it normally.
