What are your thoughts on having a static IP address with Xfinity?

Isnt it strange that Xfinity pushes for static IP setup but then charges extra for it? Seems like a sneaky way to squeeze more money out of customers. What do you all think?

Seems like Xfinitys idea of customer service is giving with one hand and taking with the other. Typical corporate greed at its finest.

Unpopular opinion: Why bother with static IP addresses? Embrace the chaos of dynamic IPs, keep Xfinity on their toes. Who needs predictability when you can live on the edge? #DynamicIPsFTW
