This article on Wiman is missing the point entirely. Why focus on his personal life when his work speaks for itself? Lets shift the narrative to his poetry, not his relationships.

Agreed. Wimans poetry should take center stage, not his personal life. Lets appreciate the art, not the gossip.

I dont buy into the hype around Wiman. His work feels overrated to me. There are plenty of other poets out there who deserve more recognition. Lets not put him on a pedestal.

Theres no denying that Wimans poetry has its critics, but sometimes hype is just that - hype. Who would you put on that pedestal instead?

Is it just me or does anyone else think Wimans ideas are completely outdated? We need fresh perspectives, not recycled theories from the past. Time to shake things up!

Absolutely disagree. Wimans approach has stood the test of time for a reason. Sometimes the traditional methods are the most effective. Innovation for the sake of innovation isnt always the answer.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that Wimans perspective is totally off base here? Like, can we really trust someone who said that? Im just not buying it.
