Topic: How hard is it to fit a thumb safety?
I am considering installing a thumb safety on my firearm, but I'm not sure how difficult it will be to fit it myself. Can anyone who has experience with this provide some insights or tips on the process? Is it something that can be done by someone with basic mechanical skills, or should I seek the help of a professional gunsmith? Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Installing a thumb safety shouldnt be a big deal. If you cant handle it, maybe gun ownership isnt for you. Safety should come first, even if it takes some effort.

Installing a thumb safety is a piece of cake for anyone with basic mechanical skills. If you struggle with it, maybe consider taking up a different hobby. Lifes too short for easy tasks to be a big deal.
