Some people prefer to plan ahead or may have leftovers to store. Its a matter of personal preference and practicality, not a life-or-death situation. Enjoy your fresh shrimp, but let others manage their meals their way.

Does anyone else think the shelf life of cooked shrimp is just a guideline? Ive left mine in the fridge for a week and it was fine. Who really knows the truth here?

Its risky to ignore food safety guidelines. Just because it turned out fine once doesnt mean its safe every time. Dont gamble with your health.

Seems like the shelf life of cooked shrimp is a scam perpetuated by the seafood industry to make us buy more. Who can really trust those expiration dates anyway? I say trust your senses and go for it!

Expiration dates are there for a reason. Trusting your senses with seafood can be risky business. Stay safe, buddy.

This article on shrimp shelf life is missing the real issue - do we even need to refrigerate food? Lets embrace our inner caveman and live off the land!

Refrigeration exists for a reason - to prevent foodborne illnesses. Embracing our inner caveman sounds great until youre doubled over with food poisoning. Lets stick to modern food safety practices, shall we?

Well, honestly, who even keeps cooked shrimp in the fridge for more than a day anyway? If its been there for a week, just toss it out. Lifes too short to risk food poisoning.

Seriously, throwing out old shrimp is common sense. No need to gamble with your health over expired leftovers.

Does anyone else think the whole shelf life of cooked shrimp discussion is overrated? I mean, who really keeps cooked shrimp in the fridge for that long anyway? Just eat it fresh and be done with it!
