Is the RMR compatible with the 1911?

Seems like the real question is: does the 1911 even need the RMR? Maybe its just a gimmick for modern shooters. Traditionalists might argue it ruins the classic design.

Is it just me or does anyone else think the RMR on a 1911 is like putting a spoiler on a minivan? Traditional meets tactical, but does it really enhance performance or just add unnecessary flash?

Are we really still debating this? Of course, the RMR is compatible with the 1911! Its 2021, people, lets embrace technology and stop living in the past. Time to move forward.
