Is it just me or does anyone else find it weird how much emphasis is put on pleasing your partners mom in a relationship? Shouldnt the focus be on the couple themselves, not the in-laws? Just my two cents.

Does anyone else find it strange that were expected to prioritize our partners mom in our relationship? Shouldnt our focus be on building a strong connection with our partner first and foremost? Just a thought.
