This article on Texas redfish regs is missing the point - why not just let everyone catch as many as they want? Conservation is overrated, lets focus on personal freedom!

Conservation ensures the future of our fisheries for all to enjoy. Personal freedom shouldnt come at the expense of sustainability. Prioritizing long-term health over short-term gains is key.

Is it just me, or are these Texas redfish regulations getting out of hand? Who decides whats fair game? Maybe we need a fishermans council to set things straight.

Regulations are in place to protect the redfish population. Its called conservation, not a free-for-all. Maybe educate yourself before casting your line.
