Unpopular opinion: Why are we spending resources on studying decomposing bodies when there are more pressing issues to address? Seems like a morbid fascination rather than practical research.

Studying decomposing bodies helps forensic science solve crimes and bring closure to families. Its not about fascination, its about justice.
