So, why dont we just put a rearview mirror on the back of the car instead of relying on technology like RCTA? Seems like a simple solution to me.

A rearview mirror cant see everything, especially blind spots. Technology like RCTA enhances safety by providing additional awareness. Its a smart supplement, not a replacement.

Why do we need RCTA when we should be focusing on improving our driving skills? Technology can only do so much - lets not rely on it as a crutch.

Improving driving skills is important, but RCTA can provide an extra layer of safety. Embracing technology doesnt mean neglecting skills, its about enhancing them.
