You might think its all fun and games until that character leads to a costly repair bill. Ignoring a check engine light is a gamble you dont want to take. Fix the gas cap and save yourself the headache later on.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that loose gas caps are just a ploy by car companies to make us panic and spend money on unnecessary repairs? Seems fishy to me.

Loose gas caps as a ploy? Seriously? Maybe you should check your conspiracy theories at the door and focus on basic car maintenance. Sounds like youre just looking for someone to blame for your own negligence.
