DIY all the way! Mechanics charging an arm and a leg for a simple alternator replacement is daylight robbery. Save your cash and get your hands dirty.

Is it just me or does anyone else think the price to replace an alternator is highway robbery? Mechanics be charging an arm and a leg for a simple fix. Can we start a revolution or what?

Its called labor and expertise, buddy. You want cheap, go DIY. Mechanics aint running a charity. Get real.

So, are we just gonna ignore the fact that the article didnt even touch on the environmental impact of replacing alternators? We need to think beyond just cost and consider the bigger picture here.

Totally agree! Its frustrating when important aspects like environmental impact are overlooked. We cant ignore the bigger picture.
