Using a spare key instead of replacing the battery is a temporary fix. Its better to have a fully functional key fob for convenience and security in the long run.

Isnt it strange that we have to go through all this trouble just to replace a tiny battery in a key fob? Why cant car manufacturers come up with a simpler solution? Its 2022, for crying out loud!

Replacing the battery in your Toyota key fob is a waste of time. Just use it until it dies completely, then switch to a physical key. Who needs fancy gadgets anyway?
