Rubber bands might work in a pinch, but for long-term maintenance, investing in a proper wrench is a smarter choice. Dont risk damaging your filter or engine over a few bucks.

Is it just me or do oil filter wrenches seem like a scam? I mean, cant we just use our hands or improvise with tools we already have? Seems like a waste of money to me.
