Maybe your screen just needs adjusting, no need to look for cosmic signs.

Cant you just adjust the brightness manually in the settings? Seems like a simple workaround instead of relying on those keys. Or maybe its time for a new laptop altogether?

Adjusting the brightness manually may not always solve the issue. Sometimes the keyboard shortcuts are more convenient and efficient. Plus, why spend money on a new laptop when a simple fix could do the trick?
