This article on Petsmart dog training is missing the point. Why not focus on training the owners instead? Dogs arent the problem, its the humans. Lets start there.

Is it just me or does anyone else find it weird that a pet store is offering dog training? Shouldnt training be left to professionals? Seems like a money grab to me.

Training a dog at a pet store isnt necessarily a money grab. Many pet stores employ certified trainers who can effectively teach basic obedience. Its convenient for some pet owners and can be a good starting point.
