Why fix what aint broke? Traditional thumb safeties work just fine. This new gadget seems like a solution in search of a problem.

Is anyone else thinking that maybe we should just ditch thumb safeties altogether and focus on training proper trigger discipline instead? Seems like a better solution, right?

Absolutely not. Thumb safeties are a crucial safety feature that should not be dismissed. Trigger discipline alone is not enough to prevent accidents. Keep the safeties, enhance training.
