Guys, hear me out - forget about the classic 1911s, what about a customized one with neon pink grips and a holographic sight? Now that would really turn heads in a collectors showcase!

Guys, am I the only one who thinks the most desirable 1911 for collectors should be the most used, beaten-up piece? I mean, it has character and history! Whos with me on this?

Absolutely not. A pristine, well-maintained 1911 holds its value and beauty just as much, if not more. Why settle for a battered relic when you can admire a piece of history in its full glory?

Custom pieces are a niche market for a reason. 1911s hold their value for a reason. Popular doesnt always mean basic. Just saying.

Guys, am I the only one who thinks that the most desirable 1911 for collectors should actually be the rare custom ones made by unknown gunsmiths? I mean, who needs a big brand name anyway?
