Why is there so much dislike towards Kimber 1911s?

Agree to disagree. Kimber may have made improvements, but some folks have valid reasons for their skepticism. Quality matters more than blind loyalty.

I dont get the hate for Kimber 1911s. Theyre solid guns with great craftsmanship. People just love to hate on popular brands. Give me a Kimber any day over some overpriced custom piece.

Kimber may have good craftsmanship, but their quality control issues are well-documented. Custom pieces are pricey for a reason - you get what you pay for.
