I recently made the decision to send my gun in for the NT7+ Finish, which is being hailed as the successor to the popular NP3+ coating. I've heard great things about the durability and corrosion resistance of NT7+ and I am excited to see how it will enhance the performance of my firearm.

Is it just me or does upgrading a gun with NT7+ Finish sound like a waste of money? I mean, do we really need our firearms to have the Next Generation of coatings? Seems a bit excessive to me.

Isnt upgrading a gun with fancy finishes like NT7+ just a superficial way to compensate for lack of skill? Maybe focus on honing your shooting abilities instead of relying on flashy coatings to feel more powerful.

The upgrades are just keeping up with the times. If you can afford it and it makes you feel safer, why not go for it? Its personal choice, not obsession.
