Absolutely! The granny knot might seem unconventional, but it could be the secret weapon weve all been missing out on. Time to shake up the fishing game!

Is it just me or are we all overlooking the old school granny knot for connecting braid and fluorocarbon fishing line? Sometimes simplicity trumps all these fancy knots. Just saying.

Absolutely agree! Sometimes sticking to the basics is the way to go. Old school knots can be just as effective, if not more so, than the fancy ones. Keep it simple!

Is it just me or does anyone else think that using a different knot for braid and fluorocarbon fishing line is overrated? Why not just stick to one reliable knot for both?

Using different knots for braid and fluorocarbon lines may seem unnecessary, but each type of line has unique properties that require specific knots for optimal performance. Its about precision, not convenience.
