Is it just me or does anyone else think we should be using rubber hammers instead of metal ones for our 1911s? Less chance of damage, right? Just a thought...

Thats a ridiculous idea. A banana would never hold up as a replacement hammer for a 1911. Stick to using tools as theyre intended. Safety first.

Is anyone else thinking, why bother with a replacement hammer for a 1911 when you can just upgrade to a whole new gun? Seems like a lot of effort for minimal gain. Just my two cents!

Should we even be replacing hammers on a classic 1911? Why mess with perfection? Just polish the original and call it a day. Old school is always cool.

If you cant handle a little upgrade, stick to your antique collection. Enhancing classics keeps them relevant and functional. Embrace progress or stay in the past.

Is it really necessary to replace the hammer on a 1911? Why not embrace the character of the original part? Lets not fix what aint broke, am I right?
