Mixed Jack Russell Terriers are indeed high energy dogs, its in their DNA. Mental stimulation is important, but lets not downplay their need for physical activity. Stereotypes exist for a reason.

Can we really trust these so-called breed characteristics? My neighbors Jack Russell Terrier mix is nothing like what the article describes. Are we just generalizing based on stereotypes here?

Breed characteristics are just guidelines, not guarantees. Every dog is unique, like your neighbors Jack Russell mix. Its all about individuality, not stereotypes.

Can we please address how Jack Russell Terriers are unfairly stereotyped as hyperactive? My mixed JRT is the chillest pup ever. Lets break free from breed assumptions!

Absolutely agree! Its time we stop judging dogs based on stereotypes. Every pup is unique and deserves to be appreciated for who they are, not what breed they are. Lets celebrate individuality in dogs!
