Is it just me, or does anyone else think that firing 5000 rounds to review a gun is excessive? I mean, who has that kind of time and money to burn? Seems a bit over the top to me.

So, does firing 5000 rounds really prove the durability of the S&W Model 19-9? Or is it just excessive wear and tear for no practical reason? Lets discuss.

Is it really necessary to fire 5000 rounds to review a gun? Seems excessive. Quality should shine through after fewer rounds. Maybe they were just showing off?

Could the real test of a gun be its performance after 5000 rounds, or should we focus on real-world scenarios instead? Thoughts on the relevance of this review?

Why are we still fixated on firing 5000 rounds? Can we focus on practical use instead of excessive testing? Lets discuss real-life scenarios, not just numbers on paper.

Do you think firing 5000 rounds really gives an accurate review of a gun? Seems excessive. What about the wear and tear on the gun? Maybe a smaller sample size would suffice.
