Is there a Glock magazine that holds approximately 30 rounds of .45 ACP ammunition?

How can anyone justify the need for a Glock magazine that holds 30 rounds of .45 ACP ammo? Are we preparing for a war or a shooting spree? This obsession with firepower is alarming.
