This Safariland Lvl 3 Staccato XL Holster seems like overkill. Do we really need such heavy-duty gear for everyday carry? It feels excessive and could potentially escalate situations rather than de-escalate them.

Some people prefer drop-in barrels for the convenience and cost savings. Not everyone has access to a gunsmith or wants to pay for the extra service. Its a matter of personal choice and practicality.
